The Interim President of Shaw University, Dorothy Cowser Yancy PhD and Lee Monroe EDd, Vice President Institutional Advancement and Sponsored Programs along with the Chairman: John I. Kester, PhD; Michael Umeadi, DBA, and Mr. Poitier, MBA expands Shaw University global relations and interactions. A Shaw University Information Center will be established in Africa's most populous nation - Nigeria. At this time, the information center is charged with the responsibility of disseminating information about Shaw University around the West Africa and recruiting international students. Shaw University offers an outstanding unique opportunity for African students. Other such Information centers will be established in Qatar, the Republic of Congo (Brazzaville) and Gambia as well.
