Shaw Celebrates Homecoming: 145 Years of Excellence

Shaw University welcomed alumni, staff, faculty and students to this year’s homecoming celebration. Ms. Janus Adams, award winning journalist and author was the featured keynote speaker during the Founder’s Day Convocation, and was awarded with an honorary doctorate of humane letters. Additional activities included The Midnight Fashion Show, the National Alumni Association Banquet & Auction, the Homecoming Step Show and Concert, the Willie E. Gary “Making A Difference” Reception, the Homecoming Football game vs. Chowan University and the Closing Worship Service.
