Shaw Alum Featured on UNC-TV WWII Documentary |

December 7, 2010 - Mr. Hubert A. Poole, Shaw Class of 1950, is a featured interviewee in UNC-TV’s two-hour documentary North Carolina’s WWII Experience which will air on UNC-TV tonight, December 7 at 8:00 p.m.
The two-hour documentary uses archival footage and photographs, and revealing interviews with the men and women who were part of North Carolina’s extraordinary reaction to the attack on America. From the sneak attack at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, to the end of 1942, North Carolina had more service members within its borders than any other state.
UNC-TV is broadcast throughout North Carolina on all cable service providers and is available over the air for those who do not receive cable. Check local listings for channel information.
