Shaw President and Chairman to Appear on Tom Joyner Morning Show 

  

(Raleigh, NC) - Shaw University President Irma McClaurin and Chairman of the Board of Trustees Willie E. Gary will appear on the Tom Joyner Morning Show on Monday, May 9 at approximately 7:30 a.m.  

  

Dr. McClaurin and Chairman Gary will discuss the ongoing recovery at Shaw University following a tornado that swept through the campus on April 16, as well as the remarkable outpouring of generosity from individuals and groups from around the country in the aftermath of the storm.

 

Shaw has announced that Summer session will begin as scheduled on May 23, but only for non-residential students.  Classes will be held in person and online.  Shaw's eight College of Adult and Professional Education sites across the state will hold classes as previously scheduled.
