  • Congrats on your admission to Shaw University!

You are officially one of the newest members of the Shaw Bear family. We are committed to transforming you into a global leader, who will make an incredible impact on the world in which we live.

In order to get you acclimated to our City campus and the resources that are available to you in Downtown Raleigh, there are a few steps for you to complete in the New Student Orientation process. The goal of New Student Orientation is to introduce students and families to campus services, resources and the expectations of collegiate life at Shaw University. During New Student Orientation, students and families attend information sessions, participate in social activities, work with peer orientation mentors and sit with an academic advisor to discuss your career pursuits, then register for courses.
