Student organizations united and decided to take a stand! On Saturday, October 30, 2010 Shaw University’s Honors College, the Alpha Rho Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the Student Government Association and the Office of Student Activities/ Greek Life hosted the “Your Vote Counts: March to the Polls.” Guest speaker, Dr. Martin Luther King III delivered a motivational speech, encouraging Shaw students and members of the community to vote. Students took Dr. King’s advice and marched to the polls to issue their votes. Shaw Bears are continuing to demonstrate excellence!
