WSHA has a Community Advisory Board (CAB) made up of people residing in the community that is served by WSHA. CAB members meet at least three times every year.

As a public radio station, serving under the guidelines and regulations of the Federal Communications Commission, all WSHA CAB meetings are open to the public.

For every CAB meeting, announcements are made on 88.9 WSHA FM within three days or more before the meeting holds, with details on date, locations and time.

Any member of the public who is interested in attending and participating in the CAB meetings, is welcome and advised to call for additional information that includes directions to the meeting location.

During all CAB meetings, questions, suggestions and comments are welcome without restrictions but under the order of the meeting as set and supervised by the CAB Chair or designate.

For those who fail to attend the meetings, a formal request during office hours for the minutes of any or all CAB meetings will be accepted. All CAB minutes are available for viewing in WSHA designated office or conference room.

All questions or comments regarding WSHA Open Meeting Policy should be directed to the General Manager by email at Emeka@shawu.edu or by telephone at 919-546-8432.
