Shaw University Divinity School
With a rich heritage that is rooted in the Baptist Church, Shaw University Divinity School prepares students for their calling as Christian leaders through theological study, practical knowledge applicable to church ministries and spiritual practices. Students enrolled in the Master of Divinity (MDiv), Master of Arts in Christian Education (MACE), and Master of Arts in Christian Leadership (MACL) focus on specific aspects of the ministry profession including Christian heritage, cultural awareness, ministerial identity, and leadership.
Shaw University Divinity School is accredited by the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada to offer the following approved degree programs:
Our degree programs are designed to equip students for leadership in congregational ministries and other religious institutions. Shaw University is also approved for a comprehensive distance education program.
With a Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in Christian Education, or Master of Arts in Christian Leadership students will gain the tools needed to enter ministry professions – no matter what their particular calling.
