About the Honors College:
Along with receiving a Presidential Scholarship to Shaw University came participation in the Honors College. For me, The Honors College represented the opportunity to be around like minded people who had similar academic goals and interests. It was a constant support system during my matriculation through the University. The Honors College challenged me and helped me become a forward thinking individual who takes responsibility for their own success. It gave me friendships and relationships that will last a life time. Sometimes it’s not what you know, it’s who you know, and with the great people who have been a part of the Honors College, I’m sure to be a success.
