About the Department

A part of the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities, the Department of Health, Human and Life Sciences prepares students to contribute to a global society and a diverse workforce as knowledgeable healthcare professionals and/or graduate students.  This is accomplished by providing students with the knowledge and skills basic to the practice of their disciplines, instilling them with the fundamental attitudes of professionalism, teaching, service to the community, and a desire for lifelong learning in a personalized, culturally rich and dynamic learning environment that fosters faculty, staff, and student engagement.
