Shaw University-Wilmington is located in scenic Downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. Wilmington is one of the premier beach getaways in the state. Our Wilmington campus, established in 1971, is located on North Front Street, just two blocks from the Cape Fear River. In addition to shopping and dining, Wilmington offers an array of cultural and sporting events throughout the year.

Shaw University-Wilmington offers a combination of classroom, video teleconferencing (VTC), and online classes so that you have a choice in course options that work best for your schedule, preferences, and learning style.

Shaw University-Wilmington features over 4,000 square feet of flexible academic space for teaching, learning, and collaboration, including seven classrooms, a computer lab, a Learning Resource Center, and a student/faculty lounge.
