Major in Sociology (B.A.)

Shaw University offers the bachelor of arts degrees in sociology and sociology with concentrations in criminal justice. The sociology program is designed for students to gain a solid background in human development and societal issues, and to prepare them to pursue a career or to enter graduate school. Students will develop skills in critical thinking, research and writing, as well as valuable knowledge in human nature and society.
