This convenient feature enables ShawU students to receive and send automated reminders, updates, and alerts related to their academic progress and support services, all at no additional charge.

Ana messaging is designed to:

• Send automated reminders about tutoring sessions, deadlines, and resources
• Offer encouragement and tips to support your academic success
• Allow students to respond for follow-up assistance or clarification
• Provide FAFSA and scholarship reminders
• Send graduation reminders

For example, you might receive messages like:

• “Academic advising for spring begins on 10/28! Do you know what classes you need to take?”
• “Self-care doesn’t have to mean splurging on something to cheer yourself up!”
• “Are you struggling with a course? We’re here to help. Reply if you’d like to connect with a tutor!”
• “Hi! It’s Ana again with an important 2025-2026 FAFSA reminder! Did you know there are 3 deadlines to keep in mind when submitting your FAFSA?”
